pstool provides a graphical interface to UNIX process control. As its name implies, it is a graphical visualization of the output created by the UNIX ps command. It allows users easy access to information about processes running on the system. The process listing can be manipulated by the user to sort and filter output, and to display a variety of information. In addition, pstool provides a simple interface for process control through its connection to various UNIX process control functions: kill, renice, and fuser.
